Discover your Courage!
Imagine this:
A quiet seaside town in southern Türkiye. Warm air, slow mornings, deep conversations and days filled with new, exciting experiences.
A week for you, about you. A week where you will reconnect with your courage, your boldest ideas.
Where you will learn to breathe differently.
To listen to what’s next – and find the courage to move towards it.
A week after which you’ll return with a renewed sense of purpose, a clear, actionable plan, and inspiring connections that will continue to support you well beyond the retreat.
Why the sea & this retreat?
Over the past few years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work together with inspiring women executives and entrepreneurs in their 40s and 50s, who either navigated through major career changes, or who had taken their businesses to a whole new level – as a result of our work together.
During this time, I observed in many of my clients that before change happens, there’s usually a period of dissatisfaction, exhaustion, and the sense of being stuck.
The constant overwhelm,
the pressure to deliver results at all costs,
perfectionism,
the feeling of not being good enough,
wanting to meet expectations,
the procrastination,
and taking on too much,
can all lead to burnout, fatigue, and a deep sense of disengagement.
It is at this point that the desire for change shows up, but often there’s no clear vision, energy, or the courage to take action.
And more thinking or doing won’t help. (Even if that’s what we’ve been taught.)
We must slow down and stop for a while.
In that quiet space, through “doing nothing” is when our ability to create something new can surface. We call this the “Fertile Void”, and it needs to be there at the end of each of our activities, so that we can start the next one with renewed strength and motivation.
But in a world that expects constant productivity, slowing down and doing “nothing” takes courage.
We are conditioned to constantly do stuff, to have a plan, to be useful and to not be idle. Keep going, do more, that’s the mantra we live in.
As women, many of us were raised to be “good girls” – to stay in the background and not be too visible, too loud or determined.
As a result, we often don’t show up for our ideas; instead, we want to do more and do better to prove ourselves.
I know the feeling too.
And yet, when you finally make time for yourself, allow yourself to slow down and take in what this environment and the program offer, you’ll feel your power return. The experiences you’ll be part of will strengthen your courage, help you move forward and turn thoughts into action.
I invite you to join me on an adventure at sea, where nature, the experiences and the group coaching work will help you:
– slow down,
– reconnect with yourself,
– get clear on your bold, meaningful ideas and
– find the courage to take action, alongside other inspiring female leaders and entrepreneurs.
You’ll experience on a gut level just how many tools you already have to keep yourself safe and steady, even when facing the unknown.
We will reflect on all your experiences together on the spot, so that you can take home not only memories, but insights and practical ways to use them in your day-to-day life.
All this will take place in a beautiful environment, in a secluded small town in the south of Turkey, where people are kind, the sea is warm, the food is delicious, there is silence and there is life. A place where I’ve been returning to for 25 years.
Bring along that long-postponed, perhaps even crazy-sounding idea that you’ve been carrying.
Bring your work-related dreams or business visions that won’t leave you alone.
This retreat will be much more than a holiday – it’ll give you momentum, fresh perspectives, and inspiration to carry with you long after the week is over.
How will you benefit from this program?
The purpose

you will meet your braver self
You will meet a bolder, more decisive version of yourself. You will feel inspired to make decisions and take action on matters important to you, instead of procrastinating. Beyond a healthy dose of adrenaline, you’ll also experience deeper self-confidence and a sense of inner stability.

me-time
The time you dedicate to yourself in this beautiful setting, through powerful experiences will help you reconnect with who you are. You’ll learn to hear your own voice again, which makes it easier to see your real priorities and goals in your everyday life too.

recharging
You will rest, both mentally and physically, and might even discover new ways to recharge and renew yourself in your day-to-day life.

new possibilities
You’ll learn how to stop and say no to the endless busyness, so that you can turn this pause into a creative, productive space. Slowing down will help you notice new possibilities.

connections
If you join the group, you’ll be part of a supportive, inspiring circle of women – where genuine connections and even lifelong friendships can form.

more sustainable way of working
You’ll gain clarity on what you truly need to work or build a business in a way that’s more sustainable and aligned with who you are.

a cool new hobby?
And if you do try scuba diving and end up loving it, you might just go home with a lifelong new passion.
"Crazy-busy' is a great armor, it's a great way for numbing. What a lot of us do is that we stay so busy, and so out in front of our life, that the truth of how we're feeling and what we really need can't catch up with us."
Brené Brown
what you can expect
about the program.
This program isn’t about theories.
It’s about experiencing – through real-life situations – what you might already “know” in your head but haven’t yet been able to put into practice.
I designed the structure around a clear concept, so you can gather both inner and outer experiences and insights throughout the week.
You can join the program as part of a group, or – at a different date and under different conditions – decide to come individually. It works both ways.
Outer experiences
-
- During our sea adventures, we’ll be gazing at the endless water from boats and terraces, float on the surface and even below it.
- We’ll enjoy the sunset from the top of an ancient Roman theatre to witness, how the horizon first turns pink, then orange over the sea.
- We’ll take a full-day boat trip to the Sunken City – one of the most beautiful sights in the area. If the sea is calm, you can spot ancient Roman ruins beneath the surface. The trip passes through crystal-clear bays, with plenty of time to swim, rest, and just be.
- In the evenings, we’ll gather in cozy restaurants and bars to discuss the day’s experiences.
- We’ll swim and unwind in stunning, transparent bays.
- We will also head out with one of the local dive boats, where I’ll gently encourage everyone to try snorkeling – or rather, scuba diving. As my first instructor once told me (and it turned out to be true): there’s nothing more relaxing and magical than floating in 3D transparent blue water, while listening to your own breathing.
- All these adventures will happen at a slowed-down, relaxed and refreshing pace.
Inner experiences
We’ll learn about the concept of the Fertile Void and the importance of “doing nothing” – with little theory and lots of practice.
Whether on the surface or under it, but definitely with a diving mask, you’ll experience how much more you’re capable of than you ever thought.
You’ll learn about how you react and what resources you can rely on when you find yourself in a new environment or when you face challenges.
Group and/or individual conversations will help you move closer to your goals. Throughout the week, we’ll reflect on all sea experiences together, so that you can integrate all that you’ve learned into your daily life, after returning home.
You’ll create your own action plan using a creative method – after we’ve worked through the limiting beliefs that might be in its way.
You’ll be supported by one session each before and after the retreat, and at least 10–12 hours of group coaching during the week.
When you join the group, you’ll be part of a safe, supportive circle of women – and through each other’s stories, you’ll realize you’re not alone.
what else is important
come and join us if:
You’re leading a team, a cause, or a business – or even if you don’t currently hold such a position, you naturally tend to take the lead when it matters. Or, if you’ve been nurturing a bold idea related to your work or business for a while now, something that could create real value on a broader scale.
- You’re truly committed to learning about yourself and working on your own goals or challenges. You’re ready to start a new, braver and more balanced chapter in your life.
- You’re okay with the fact that the program is partly shaped by the individual needs of the group – including yours. That means some programs might slightly change along the way. And yes, if the weather changes and the sea is rough, we’ll adjust the schedule accordingly.
- You’re ready to step out of your routine, you’ve got a bit of an adventurous spirit, you’re confident in the water, and you enjoy spending time on a boat.
those who loved it
We spent a week in the picturesque town of Kaş, Turkey – six of us altogether: five very different women in terms of age, personality, and business focus, and Eva, an inspiring and incredibly well-prepared coach.
Eva designed the week fully tailored to our needs. It was all about deep experiential learning, supported by group coaching.
We shared some of our most difficult life situations with each other, we collected resources for one another, set goals, and visualised the path forward using creative tools.
One of the most powerful parts of the experience was how Eva gradually and personally guided each of us to face our fears.
For me, the defining moment was not only putting my head underwater but diving all the way down to 5 metres – with Eva’s mentoring. I realised that nothing is truly impossible. Courage is something we can develop and need to develop. What I used to see as a scary obstacle became a source of strength.
Again and again, I experienced how quickly and deeply women can connect – we drew so much inspiration from one another. I came home feeling even more certain that the journey of self-awareness is essential, and that there is always someone who will hold you, inspire you, believe in you, and help you move forward.
The courage I (re)discovered is now helping me see new perspectives and bring more colour into my work with groups.
I recommend Eva’s program to anyone who wants to get to know herself on a deeper level – with the sea as your guide – and who wants to live with full presence.
“I had a feeling you were good at what you do, Eva, but what you delivered was way beyond that.”
I received so much more from this experience than I expected.
It wasn’t just a beautiful holiday with stunning places and delicious food. I also met amazing, inspiring female leaders, and step by step, I found myself gently stepping out of my comfort zone.
For me, this program was about me-time, slowing down, recharging, getting inspired, and gaining self-awareness… oh, and we also discovered how much fun it is to dance to Turkish music 😁
My favourite moment was the pride I felt when I jumped into the deep water with my diving gear on – and realised I was going to be just fine down there, even though I never thought I could do something like that 😊
It was a fantastic experience – not just because of the scenery and food, but because of the inspiring group, the coaching conversations, and the way I stretched my limits.
I wholeheartedly recommend this journey to anyone who’s feeling stuck or hesitant in life.
Come along, slow down, float on the water – and allow yourself to experience the power of the fertile void.
There are moments in life when you feel tired, empty, and on the verge of burnout.
And then came this journey to Kaş, Turkey and everything changed.
During this trip organised by Eva Tornallyay, I got to meet five remarkable women. We came from very different backgrounds, and yet from day one, something truly special connected us.
Every day was thoughtfully designed: deep conversations about ourselves, tasks that helped us dig deeper, dinners filled with laughter and tears… and the sea.
For me, the biggest challenge was scuba diving, with a full tank and gear. When I got back on the boat, I burst into tears. I had just overcome my fear of death.
This wasn’t just a travel experience – it was a turning point. In fact, during that week, I laid the foundation for a new business. One that nourishes me and helps others too.
Out of burnout came new momentum. Because it is possible to change and begin again – no matter your age or how many setbacks you’ve had.
It was absolutely worth the time and money, because I came home with so much more. I was able to make decisions and start changes in my life.
I found new connections, was inspired by my fellow participants, and took important steps toward turning my new creative self into a business.
An unfamiliar place, unknown companions on the journey, and parts of myself I hadn’t yet met, which were waiting to be integrated.
The unknown quickly became familiar, thanks to you, Eva, and the wonderful women fate brought together.
I’m deeply grateful for the meaningful time we spent together, the inspiring conversations, the powerful exercises, and the beautiful surroundings.
Thank you for the courage – and all the love.
I wholeheartedly recommend Eva and this program to anyone seeking a truly special experience and brave enough to face themselves.
– When the captain led us to a secret cave hidden beneath the rocks – it helped me realize that despite our fears, there is wonder waiting to be seen.
– On the last day, sitting alone at the tip of the peninsula, I felt a quiet, powerful certainty: anything is possible.
What makes this program special:
– The perfect balance of vacation and self-discovery.
– A setting that lifts you out of your everyday life.
– Eva, the brilliant fusion of your expertise and your deep local knowledge.
Who I recommend it to:
– Anyone who wants a real vacation, not just sightseeing.
– Those unafraid of new things and open to discovering new places and cultures.
– Anyone who’s ready to work on themselves or a specific topic, supported by the energy of the sea.
What brought me here:
A love of adventure and the desire to explore Turkey. Plus, the curiosity about what you, Eva, would create out of all this.
And I WASN’T DISAPPOINTED – thank you for everything.
I went diving for the first time in my life, and I overcame my fears.
The dives and the coaching took me deep and lifted me high. They built on each other and supported each other.
Underwater my thoughts became clearer and brighter.
Eva once again helped bring out the real questions and the real answers in us.
I was able to express such fears and doubts, that I hadn’t expected to name – and I found solutions for them.
I took some important sentences home with me.
I realized that I’m allowed to be clumsy or awkward because now I know that this is what it takes to get past myself, every single time.

The retreat is based in Kas, a remote town on the southern coast of Turkey, where I have been returning regularly since 2004. You can fly into one of two international airports, followed by either a 2.5 or 3.5-hour transfer to reach the town. The journey is long, but stunning – and absolutely worth it.
The town is surrounded by 2000-meter-high mountains and crystal-clear, turquoise sea. There are many lovely restaurants, bars and cozy cafés to choose from, where chances are, that from day two the locals will be calling you by your name.
Kaş is home to small hotels and family-run guesthouses only. If there’s availability at the time of your registration, you’ll stay at one of my favorite apartment hotels, with a lovely garden and very friendly hosts. The apartments have a comfortable living room and bedroom, a private bathroom with a shower, a fridge, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and a terrace with either garden view, partial or full sea view.
You can stay alone or share the apartment with someone else: in the shared option, a separate single bed (just as comfortable as the one in the bedroom) will be set up in the spacious living room.
Each morning a generous and delicious traditional Turkish breakfast is served in the hotel’s lovely garden.
All other meals are at your own expense, except for the boat trip days, when lunch is freshly prepared and served on board. The town offers a wide variety of restaurants, both lower and higher priced, all with excellent cuisine.
In September and early October, the average daytime temperature is around 27–32 °C, with sea temperatures of around 26–28 °C. In other words, the weather is just perfect.
Humidity is lower than in the summer months, making the heat more bearable.
From the end of September onwards, you might want to bring a sweater or a shawl for the evenings.
You can join the program either as part of a group or individually at a different date.
The group program requires a minimum of 4 participants and can accommodate a maximum of 8 at the same time.
The listed prices of the group programme are valid with a minimum of 4 participants.
If fewer people register, we will discuss together the following options to find the most favourable solution for everyone:
– the programme can still take place with a smaller group, but in that case the shared costs (e.g. transfer) will be divided among fewer people, so the participation fee may change;
– you can transfer your registration to another date;
– or you will receive a full refund of the paid fee.
Important: I will do everything I can to ensure that the programme runs with the required number of participants, but the final number depends on factors beyond my control.
If you would like to come individually at another date, please ask for a personalized offer.
Group program: September 2026
- Shared twin apartment with sea view: TBA
- Private apartment with sea view: TBA
The listed prices for the group programme apply to a minimum of 4 participants. If fewer people register, the prices may be adjusted. Any changes will be agreed with the participants who have already registered.
If you would prefer to come individually at another date, please ask for a personalized offer.
If you choose the individual program and would like to bring someone with you who would only join for the travel and leisure part (not the coaching), we can discuss this during our first call.
VIP package:
+€300 – Includes 3 x 60-minute 1-on-1 follow-up sessions after the retreat to help you fully integrate your experience.

Flights, travel insurance, or other individual expenses.
I strongly recommend arranging your own accident, health, and baggage insurance.
You will need to book your flight individually – there are several options available. I’m happy to give you advice on how and where to book.
In general, you can enter Turkey with a passport that is valid for at least 180 days from your date of arrival. However, please check with the Turkish embassy or consulate in your country for the most up-to-date entry requirements.
For the group program between September 3-10, 2025: July 10, 2025
After this date, we can no longer guarantee accommodation in the same hotel or the advertised prices.
However, flight prices tend to rise as the date approaches, so it’s best to make your decision as soon as possible.
This program is for those who feel safe in deep water and who enjoy being in the sea. Snorkeling or scuba diving experience is not necessary, but swimming skills are.
If you have any questions before you register, please write to evat @ kalangu.net. I promise to answer.
Often, the best answers come when we step out of our everyday environment and into a completely different one – and when we shift our focus inward.
To do that, we need to slow down, so that we can look at our situation from entirely new perspectives.
If you feel stuck and this program speaks to you, let’s talk.
And one more thing: I never offer anything I haven’t been through or tried myself.
